Perintin Cottage is between the villages of Blanca and Ojós, joined by the Mu-520 local road in the Ricote Valley in the interior of the Region of Murcia. It is less than a kilometre from Ojós, 3.5 km from Blanca, 8 km from Archena, 85 km from the Natural Park of Las Salinas de San Pedro (on the coast) and 32 km from the City of Murcia; and 373 km from Madrid, 120 km from Albacete, 115 km from Alicante and 235 km from Almería.

In a car access can be gained from the A-31 Madrid-Alicante-Murcia motorway exiting at km 363 (Mu-110) to Blanca. When turning off for Blanca the village is reached 4 km later. You cross the River Segura by the iron bridge after passing through Blanca. After crossing the bridge turn left for Ojós (3.3 km). You travel along the left-hand side of Blanca reservoir, pass Ojós dam and climb the El Solvente hill. Perintin Cottage is on the right-hand side of a bend 300 meters after an out-of-use mini-hydroelectric power station, and before the village of Ojós.

By public transport:

From El Altet airport in Alicante there are regular buses to Murcia-San Andrés run by ALSA (www.alsa.es).

There are several line 42 buses every day connecting the San Andrés bus station in Murcia to the Ricote Valley run by LATBUS ( http://www.latbus.com/). They all stop in Ojós with their final destination in Ricote or Blanca; Ulea is just a couple of kilometres away.

Trains can be caught to the station in Murcia from Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Cartagena. Some trains on the Madrid-Cartagena line stop in Cieza, 15 km from Ojós. www.renfe.es
